For this piece Monroy does personally, artistically and politically confession to the audience for a determinate period of time. Starting by saying I confess, Monroy repeats this same sentence every time a new confession is made. The artist doesn’t stop to confess things at any point, not to think what’s the next confession, instead he lead one confession run into the next one, the idea is to let the sentiments and brain fluidly speak trough is mouth while the performance is done.
The first time the sincerity above all was performed happened for the closing of the Performance art festival RIAP2012. In it Monroy was invited to do performance piece in honor of five birmanian and one colombian artist whose couldn’t made it to the festival for visas issues. The artist mounted a line of six empty chairs and he confessed continusly for 30 minutes starting saying I confess I don’t know anything about Birmany.

The second time the piece was performed at the Eveinto in the Brasilian independent art space Ateliê 397 for 6 confession continuous hours. For that occasion Monroy made confessionary scenery, inspired on reality shows, and provided instructions to the audience if they wanted to participate. The spectators could just listen, write on a paper a confession to be delivered and attributed inside Monroy’s confessions, or enter the confessionary to perform with Monroy.
